Rejoin European Market, Says Plaid
Plaid Cymru Swansea West candidate Dr Gwyn Williams has backed his party's call for the UK to rejoin the European Single Market.
"The Westminster government has forced us into the most extreme form of Brexit, causing on-going damage to businesses and job prospects", said Dr Williams.
"Yet, as Michael Heseltine has pointed out, both the Labour and Tory parties are keeping quiet about Brexit during this election.
"Now the Tories aim to pay for their latest election gimmick by using money that used to be part of European funding for Wales."
Plaid Cymru's Westminster leader Liz Saville Roberts had already pointed to a recent report by Cambridge Econometrics, that calculated that the average UK resident was nearly £2,000 worse off in 2023 because of Brexit.Mae ymgeisydd Plaid Cymru dros Orllewin Abertawe Dr Gwyn Williams wedi cefnogi cais ei blaid i ail-ymuno â'r Farchnad Sengl Ewropeaidd.

"Mae llywodraeth San Steffan wedi'n gwthio ni i'r ffurf fwyaf eithafol o Brexit, gan achosi niwed parhaol i'n busnesau a'n swyddi", medd Dr Williams.
"Ond, fel y dywed Michael Heseltine, mae'r Blaid Lafur a'r Torïaid fel ei gilydd am gadw'n dawel am effaith Brexit yn ystod yr etholiad yma.
"Nawr mae'r Torïaid am dalu am eu gimic etholiadol diwddaraf, gwasanaeth milwrol, gydag arian oedd ar un adeg yn rhan o gyllid Ewropeaidd i Gymru."
Mae arweinydd Plaid Cymru yn San Steffan Liz Saville Roberts wedi sôn yn barod am adroddiad diweddar gan Cambridge Econometrics bod y dinesydd cyffredin yng ngwledydd Prydain bron £2,000 yn dlotach yn 2023 oherwydd Brexit.
